Welcome to the Ausserstein farm in the beautiful mountains of the inner Zillertal. Our house is situated in a very quiet location, on a sunny slope in the part of Finkenberg called Stein, at 1,000 m altitude. Geographically speaking, our farm lies between Mayrhofen and Tux.

The bustling Mayrhofen is only about 10 minutes away by car. There you'll find shopping and entertainment opportunities (bars, restaurants, cinema, indoor pool, etc.). It's about 20 minutes by car to the Hintertux Glacier; alternatively, you can take the bus.

In winter, it'll only take you a few minutes to get to the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 by ski bus or by car - the ideal place for skiing and snowboarding. In addition, there are a number of toboggan tracks in the Tux valley, complete with cosy cabins for a relaxing break. If you want to practice your ice skating, there is an ice skating rink in Finkenberg.

In summer, our Ausserstein farm is the ideal starting point to experience the Zillertal mountains. Discover the four side valleys (Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stillupptal, and Tuxertal) with their individual charms on foot or on your mountain bike.

In winter, there is a separate ski room with ski boot drier for your use. Sufficient parking spaces are available.
